Charles S. Faddis is a retired CIA operations officer and author. He spent twenty years in the Near East. South Asia and Europe working against rogue states, terrorist networks and WMD smuggling organizations. He retired in 2008 as head of CIA's WMD terrorism unit and lead the first team into Iraq in advance of the 2003 invasion. He has written and spoken widely on national security, terrorism and homeland security. His most recent book, "Caffa", concerns a fictional biological weapons attack on the United States.
