JONEZEN is a talented rapper, songwriter, from Detroit turned public speaker. He currently shares his story to help people find hope again. He’s an unlikely spokesperson who is currently working hard and maintaining his sobriety within a world that is packed with all the wrong choices. JONEZEN learned the hard way and was told at the age of 26, that may not live another year due to his excessive drinking. When Chris was at his lowest, his father came to see him. JONEZEN says, “My Dad flew out from Detroit when I hit my bottom and told me it was rehab or no connection with my family. The look in his eyes when he left my apartment was literally what got me to decide to go to rehab.” JONEZEN refused to go to rehab unless he could bring his recording studio. While in rehab he started writing and recording songs that are available now via his mixtape Live From Rehab. JONEZEN has landed a deal with Concore Entertainment. Concore Entertainment CEO Charve The Don says that "JONEZEN is one of the brightest upcoming stars in music. John McCutcheon

John McCutcheon

TOPIC-
Upcoming Tour

No one remembers when the neighbors started calling the McCutcheons to complain about the loud singing from young John’s bedroom. It didn’t seem to do much good, though. For, after a shaky, lopsided battle between piano lessons and baseball (he was a mediocre pianist and an all-star catcher), he had “found his voice” thanks to a cheap mail-order guitar and a used book of chords. From such inauspicious beginnings, John McCutcheon has emerged as one of our most respected and loved folksingers. As an instrumentalist, he is a master of a dozen different traditional instruments, most notably the rare and beautiful hammer dulcimer. His songwriting has been hailed by critics and singers around the globe. His thirty-five recordings have garnered every imaginable honor, including six Grammy nominations. He has produced over twenty albums of other artists, from traditional fiddlers to contemporary singer-songwriters to educational and documentary works. His books and instructional materials have introduced budding players to the joys of their own musicality. And his commitment to grassroots political organizations has put him on the front lines of many of the issues important to communities and workers. Even before graduating summa cum laude from Minnesota’s St. John’s University, this Wisconsin native literally “headed for the hills,” forgoing a college lecture hall for the classroom of the eastern Kentucky coal camps, union halls, country churches, and square dance halls. His apprenticeship to many of the legendary figures of Appalachian music imbedded a love of not only home-made music, but a sense of community and rootedness. The result is music...whether traditional or from his huge catalog of original songs...with the profound mark of place, family, and strength. It also created a storytelling style that has been compared to Will Rogers and Garrison Keillor. The Washington Post described John as “Folk Music’s Rustic Renaissance Man,” a moniker flawed only by its understatement. “Calling John McCutcheon a ‘folksinger’ is like saying Deion Sanders is just a football player...” (Dallas Morning News). Besides his usual circuit of major concert halls and theaters, John is equally at home in an elementary school auditorium, a festival stage or at a farm rally. He launched the first-ever joint tour of a Russian and an American folksinger with 1991’s US-USSR Friendship Tour, playing to packed houses in both countries. The past several years alone have seen him headline five different festivals in Australia, tour Nicaragua on behalf of a children’s literacy program, record four albums of songs and music, give a featured concert at the AFL/CIO Convention, author a second children’s book, score four videos, talk about songwriting with authors on XMRadio’s Bob Edwards Show, produce three recordings to benefit a community organizing group, tour Chile on behalf of a women’s health initiative, garner six Grammy nominations, debut his work with symphony orchestras and serve as the president of Local 1000, the fastest-growing Local in the American Federation of Musicians. But it is in live performance that John feels most at home. It is what has brought his music into the lives and homes of one of the broadest audiences any folk musician has ever enjoyed. People of every generation and background seem to feel at home in a concert hall when John McCutcheon takes the stage, with what critics describe as “little feats of magic,” “breathtaking in their ease and grace...,” and “like a conversation with an illuminating old friend.” Whether in print, on record, or on stage, few people communicate with the versatility, charm, wit or pure talent of John McCutcheon.

NEW ‘WIRELESS’ TECHNOLOGY: Wall-Mount TV Cables, Get Out of My Sight!

Sung Ho

TOPIC-
Considering how advanced home entertainment has become in the last decade—especially with the rise of high-def, flat screen televisions—it’s amazing that the technology can still be rather crude. Such is the revelation that whacks us over the head whenever we step back to observe the beauty of our new wall-mount TV system. After all, at that point, who can take their eyes off the obnoxious stream of wires running down the wall?

Sung Oh received his mechanical engineering degree from Arizona State University in 1989. He started his career as a sales engineer for Siemens Automation, selling electrical automation equipment to industrial clients in Southern California. In 1998, he also received his Judicial Doctorate from Loyola Law School—Los Angeles; and he also received his patent attorney certificate in 1999. Mr. Oh worked for a number of international law firms gaining valuable legal experience prosecuting patent application and litigation patent matters on behalf of his clients, such as Avery Dennison and Harman International. In 2005, Mr. Oh followed his dream of being an entrepreneur and started CLO Systems, LLC. He used his technical and legal skills to design and engineer innovative products, such as the first ever full-motion motorized mounts and manual mounts. Through his diverse work experience, Mr. Oh has identified many growing market opportunities and has developed a strategy to design around competitors’ patents and protect its own technology. In this regard, he has filed more than 100 patent applications, and more than 15 patents have been granted under his name.

Stevie Warren

Stevie McGee’s gift is her passion for life and for music. She delivers songs with heart and casual elegance in what has been described as “a mesmerizing voice.” Born in Dodge City, Kansas, November 4, 1987, Stevie was raised on a Southwest Kansas ranch where she lived and learned the lifestyle of the Western working family. Stevie attended a small school and participated in sports and Skills USA as well as having many music opportunities. She graduated as salutatorian of her class. She was active in leading music for her church and youth group with the Praise and Worship team. A natural performer, Stevie has lived a life full of music, singing, playing keyboard, and the guitar at the side of her family. Her father, Tony, accompanying her on guitar, her brother, Levi, adding his percussionist talent to the band and singing harmony with her mother, Elaine, and now, writing songs with her husband, Andrew, has given her a rich heritage of music. She began singing as early as ten years old for various activities and has since performed for music events throughout Kansas, Colorado, many other states, and even Germany. No biography about Stevie would be complete without mentioning the tremendous inspiration that she has gained from country music singer, Martina McBride. She has great respect for the integrity that Martina brings to her career by helping people and maintaining an honest lifestyle. In 2006, Stevie was honored to be asked by Martina’s parents, Daryl and Jeanne Schiff to perform before Martina and a host of other guests. Other vocalists that Stevie admires are Rachael Lampa and Celine Dion. Stevie’s daily walk in the Christian faith is remembering what Christ has done for her and is her motivation to help others. She claims Hebrews 12:1-3 as her life verses, “…and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus…”. Stevie currently lives in El Dorado, Kansas where she is working as a part-time worship leader as well as teaching vocal lessons. Stevie and her family are deeply involved in several different bands. Check out the BAND OPTIONS page to see all of their different activities! Stevie and ROAD 23 released their first CD, Shattered Day, in mid-October, 2009. Their second CD, Refuge, is scheduled to be released summer 2012. A new CD is in the works with Stevie and her dad! Stevie McGee is a vocalist and musician who earnestly desires to glorify God with her voice and ministry. Her life goal is to develop a ministry with her music where she can earn a living, help others, and reach out to people with the gospel of Christ. Date Recorded: 6/25/2014

The author was born in Iraq. His mother tongue is Arabic.Using only his resources and time, 23 years, he studied the Quran, Hadiths, New Testament, Hebrew Bible, Zoroasterian & Pagan religions in depth. Because of his Arabic background, his interest in the foundations and sources of the Quran was triggered by the enormous number of verses of the Quran that were so similar to those in Christian & Jewish traditions. His research came to extremely controversial and unusual conclusions that he was driven to share with others especially when his original manuscript was refused publication for fear of retribution.Every statement and conclusion in this book are entirely his. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Tom Tancredo

tom tancredo

TOPIC-
Immagration Bill

The grandson of Italian Immigrants, Tom Tancredo was born in North Denver, Colorado. At sixteen he took his first job as a “sweeper” in an amusement park. He returned every summer for ten years and worked his way up to Assistant Park Manager. This job put him through the University of Northern Colorado. Tom is a solid fiscal and social conservative, with a lifetime 99% voting rating from the American Conservative Union. In addition to immigration, Tancredo has remained vocal on a variety of issues surrounding education, energy and event the environment. He knows how government, at all levels, harms business and can make the changes needed to grow jobs in Colorado. In 1976, while teaching civics at Drake Junior High, Tom was elected to the state legislature, and re-elected in 1978 and 1980. His first proposal was a bill limiting the number of bills any legislator could introduce. He was a leader in the conservative freshman class that won the abolition of the state’s sales tax on food and utilities, the abolition of the state’s inheritance tax, and the abolition of the auto safety inspection sticker tax. In 1981, Tom resigned his seat in the legislature to accept an appointment in the Reagan administration. He served as the Secretary of Education’s Regional Representative and was re-appointed by President Bush. His tenure was marked by a running battle with the teacher’s unions and Congresswoman Pat Schroeder, a battle Tom won when he succeeded in downsizing the regional office from 220 employees to approximately 60, resulting in a 75% cut in the regional office budget. In 1993, Tom accepted the presidency of the Independence Institute, a conservative, public policy research organization in Golden, Colorado. During his tenure, the Institute experienced dramatic growth in both revenues and visibility. The Institute’s weekly television program “Independent Thinking” is well regarded, and Tom was a regular panelist on the TV program Colorado Inside Out. Tom has been a leading spokesman for initiatives ranging from term limits to school choice and parent’s rights. In 1998, Tom won the Republican Primary in a five way race for the 6th Congressional District of Colorado. During his ten years representing Colorado Tom became universally recognized by both sides of the issue as the most vocal opponent of illegal immigration in Washington. In 1999, Tancredo founded the House Immigration Reform Caucus with a handful of Representatives; the bipartisan Caucus had over 100 members while Tom was in office. For many years, Tancredo was the only Republican to vocally oppose President Bush’s immigration policies. In 2007, a bi-partisan coalition within Congress, lead by Tom were emboldened to successfully oppose President Bush on an effort to grant amnesty to an estimated 10 to 20 million so called “un-documented workers.” Tancredo sought the 2008 Republican nomination for President of the United States with the intention of forcing the immigration issue into the debate. With the issue prominent in the debates, he chose to exit the campaign and returned to his beloved state of Colorado. Tancredo has been active in conservative politics for over forty years since his days as a member of the College Republicans and Young Americans for Freedom at the University of Northern Colorado. Tom has founded two not-for-profit (501c) education organizations the Rocky Mountain Foundation and the American Legacy Alliance. He speaks frequently on cable news, talk radio, and on college campuses. His first book, In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America’s Border and Security, was published in 2006. In 2010, after a series of what could only be described as bizarre circumstances, in what should have been a banner year for Colorado Republicans, and after much consideration, Tom entered the Colorado Governor race using a most unconventional route. While he has always stood up to the GOP when his principles required it, his candidacy was a challenge to what had proven to be an unqualified and unethical man at the top of the ticket. This became very clear as the November election approached with endorsements from many in Colorado's Republican leadership. While Tom did not prevail, he did create an alternative where none had existed before. With the vast number of restrictive individual and business regulations signed into law by Colorado's very liberal Democratic leadership, as well as the costly new programs being inflicted on the taxpayers, Tom has chosen to once again throw his hat in the ring. With the Democratic Colorado Governor granting a reprieve to the convicted murderer Nathan Dunlap, it became time to take action. Tom Tancredo entered the race to be the 2014 GOP candidate for Governor of Colorado. Tom and his wife, Jackie, have been married for 37 years. They have two sons and five grandchildren.

Diane Doniol-Valcroze

TOPIC-
41 STRANGE, a first-of-its-kind e-book anthology devoted exclusively to “short-short stories of the strange and horrifying,” awaits just a couple of clicks away for Kindle readers who enjoy a good shiver up their spines. 41 STRANGE is the bizarre debut collection of authors/screenwriters Diane Doniol-Valcroze and Arthur K. Flam, who deliver a reading experience in the spirit of such masters of the macabre as Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Alfred Hitchcock, and Rod Serling. As Doniol-Valcroze and Flam put it, the tales were written “in the lonely hour of the wolf ... in the pre-dawn darkness when you get those ‘waking nightmares.’” Doniol-Valcroze and Flam are screenwriters working in Los Angeles. They met at New York University's film school and started collaborating, first on short films and then on screenplays. That working relationship forged a natural path to writing stories. “We're both very passionate about short fiction,” says Flam. “It's our favorite form to read and write. After working together for many years on film projects, we realized we had a lot of ideas ... that could only be done as short stories, so we decided to finally pull the trigger.”

About the Authors Diane Doniol-Valcroze was born in Paris, France. As a young girl, she developed a passion for writing from her father, Jacques Doniol-Valcroze, co-founder of the New Wave magazine CAHIERS DU CINEMA, and from her grandfather, French filmmaker André Cayatte (original THE MIRROR HAS TWO FACES). She earned a B.A. in English literature from the Sorbonne University, and an M.F.A. in film from New York University while apprenticing on the Lauren Hutton show. She has co-written screenplays for such films as Lionsgate's PENNY DREADFUL, starring Mimi Rogers, and MGM's HIT AND RUN, helmed by Enda McCallion and starring Kevin Corrigan. 41 STRANGE is her debut book. She lives in Los Angeles. Arthur K. Flam was born in New York City and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in writing, and from New York University with an M.F.A. in film. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Johns Hopkins's oldest literary magazine, ZENAIDA, and worked as a journalist for the BALTIMORE CHRONICLE. He started in the film industry as an assistant on Abel Ferrara's vampire film, THE ADDICTION. He has co-written screenplays for the films PENNY DREADFUL and HIT AND RUN. 41 STRANGE is his first book. He lives in Los Angeles. Date Recorded: 6/23/2014

About the author Greg Sain is a Grammy award-winning songwriter, singer, producer, and publisher. He is also an online business owner, and makes his living from the comfort of his home. “For years I've wanted to write this very book. What stopped me? I needed to go through some of my own really bad relationships (some were downright horrific!) to finally see what role I played in their outcome. Therefore, I suppose I owe a great debt of gratitude to all of my female teachers and trainers who I rebelled against in my youth. I would also like to thank those women who tested every fiber of my ability to love unconditionally while getting to know the real me. From years of countless conversations with men who were courageous enough to speak openly, I found that most men want the same things. Yahoo to Users: Let Us Read Your Emails or – Goodbye! As of June 1, 2013 all Yahoo email users are now required to upgrade to the company's newest platform, which allows Yahoo to scan and analyze every email they write or receive. According to Yahoo's help page, all users who make the transition agree to let the company perform “content scanning and analyzing of your communications content” to target ads, offer products, and perform "abuse protection." This means any message that Yahoo's algorithms find disturbing could flag a user as a bully, a threat, or worse. At the same time, Yahoo can now openly troll through email for personal information that it can share or hold onto indefinitely. http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&y=PROD_MAIL_ML&locale=en_US&id=SLN3254 Gay and haven't come out yet? Yahoo knows. Having an affair? Your spouse may not know - but Yahoo does. Any interests, ailments or projects you'd rather not share? You're sharing them with Yahoo, perhaps forever. The new tracking policy affects more than just Yahoo account holders. Everyone who corresponds with a Yahoo email account holder will also have their own message content scanned, analyzed, and stored by Yahoo, even if they themselves have not agreed to Yahoo's new terms of service. "Emailing through Yahoo means surrendering your privacy, whether it's your own account or your friend's," says Harvard-trained privacy expert Katherine Albrecht, who is helping to develop StartMail, an upcoming email service that will not scan its users' correspondence. "It's time we start paying attention to these policies, because they're growing more shockingly abusive every day," she added. Where prior versions of Yahoo had tracking policies buried in the fine print, the company's tracking agenda is now openly stated in paragraph 2: "When you upgrade you will be accepting our "Privacy Policy." That is, its anti-privacy policy. Concerned Yahoo users are invited to check out StartMail, a completely private email program slated for release this Fall. Anyone who would like to be a beta tester can visit StartMail (www.StartMail.com) and sign up for the upcoming release. Rest assured: That information will not be shared with anyone at all. Especially not Yahoo.

Jake Ducey

Jake Ducey

TOPIC-
Defining Your Own Journey Young adults ( 18-23) are often not expected to make “mature” decisions …primarily because they are not mature. Many live for play-time, digital conversation, and recreational drugs. Jake Ducey has been-there-and-done-that, … and then did a lot more. rather than just turn-on, tune—in & drop –out, Jake stepped-out and be a ‘scholar-of-the road’. Jake found his way, wrote a book and is taking his message of real self-reliance to peers and to parents : “There's a difference between learning it and living it. Learning it means waking up every day knowing you're doing something less than your wildest dreams. Living it means courageously stepping toward your wildest dreams, even if you don't know where to begin…” At 21, Jake has an uncommon young wisdom about perception, peer pressure and personal development!

At nineteen, California surfer, Jake Ducey dropped out of college, left behind a drug filled life and went in search of deeper meaning. Upon return from his spiritual adventure, he raised the funds to build a school and home in Guatemala to support orphans. Jake's profound transformation from a college drop-out and drug addict to a inspirational author and motivational speaker had led him into social and environmental activism, formation of The Self Reliance Institute , a non-profit organization organization devoted to providing essential resources and opportunities for young people to become more self-reliant. His life changing journey that has resulted in his debut book: Into the Wind; My Six-Month Journey Wandering the World for Life's Purpose ; and is a contributing author to The Rise by NY Times bestselling author Greg S. Reid. A certified yoga-instructor, poet and lyricist, Jake is determined to share his empowering messages to ignite and inspire a new generation of truth seekers.

Norma Yaeger

Norma Yaeger

TOPIC-
Breaking Down The Walls

The heart of the women’s movement was the underlying concept that women, as citizens, professionals, athletes and soldiers, were as valuable as men, and that was in the best interest of America. The women’s movement today seems to revolve around abortion rights birth control pills. But its roots and purpose meant so much more to America in general and women in particular. From the right to vote to the right to work to the right to privacy, the cultural and legal battle wages on, but many of the real soldiers never got the headlines. Norma Yaeger, came of age in New York the mid 20thb century when even educated women were expected to marry, have children and keep house. So Norma went to Bernard Baruch College and the NY Institute of Finance and then she got married, had children and deferred to her husband. When he failed to provide, she not only stepped-up, she stepped out, and became a stockbroker. In 1962, Norma became the first woman enrolled in the prestigious Hornblower & Weeks stockbroker training program; and as a trainee she demanded and got equal pay, and joined her fellow trainees as the first woman to walk the floor of the NYSE. After training Norma worked as a licensed broker Hornblower & Weeks, and was the only women on their Management Board. Her success led her to Bear Stearns & Co., and then Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. Moving to California, Norma soon opened her own firm, initiated a mutual fund, started a second firm and lectured throughout the United States to give advice to women starting on careers and investing. And she did all of this while raising five children, Norma sold her firm in 1998, retired with Larry, and traveled the world. Now age 83, Norma has a written her first book Breaking Down the Walls, available for presales next week. www.NormaYaeger.com
