Bio Glenn Willis Ed.D Glenn Willis was born in Camden, New Jersey and attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Mary’s Catholic Schools. At the age of 11, his family moved to the Crammer Hill section of Edgewater Park Township. Dr. Willis attended Burlington City High School and Bordentown Military Institute, where he played basketball and ran track. He dropped out of Rutgers University towards the end of the Viet Nam War and enlisted in the United States Air Force. Glenn is a retired Viet Nam era disabled veteran. Upon his discharge from the Air Force, Glenn returned to the University to complete his course work before moving to California to continue his education. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Creative Writing, and a Master’s Degree in English Literature. He earned his Doctorate in Education with emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. Glenn has held the positions of Dean of Students, Dean of Instructional Services, Academic Dean and Director of Academic Affairs. His love for teaching and touching the lives of students saw him return to the classroom. Currently, Dr. Willis is an adjunct English instructor at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California. Dr. Willis has authored such books as the “Binns” (science fiction novel), “Dear America, Do You Hear What I Hear?” Dear America, Where Do We Go From Here? and “Terror in Oaktown (release date 11-15-14).

About Gina DeLapa Gina DeLapa grew up in a small Midwestern town, as the youngest of four kids. I dream the future. Immediately after she blurted it out, she was embarrassed. It sounded stupid, she was convinced. She felt her face flush and her eyes fill with tears. Ms. Rodgers would probably think she was crazy, or making it up, or both. She quickly amended her statement. Well, I think I dream the future. Sometimes I have dreams and they come true later. It's happened a lot and is happening more and more. But, no one really knows except my family who doesn't believe me. The string of words just kept tumbling from her mouth. Sherry could not figure out how she and Jasmine got off on the wrong foot. She believed it all started on the bus ride to school. After staring Sherry down for weeks, Sherry had finally had enough. What is your FREAKING problem? Sherry shouted across the bus aisle. You! Jasmine countered. Apparently that was all that needed to be said to create the rift that would ultimately push Sherry to her limit. Trying to be cool, Sherry stood at the top of the slide and attempted to run down it. She made it to the bottom, but her old sneakers had no tread and her right foot slipped from underneath her. She went flying into the air. Time stood still for a moment as she was airborne. Hoping her head wouldn't hit the metal slide; she looked at all the stars and knew she had made a huge mistake when she allowed Kara to come over. Her life flashed in front of her. God please help me she thought just before she landed. Her butt hit the ground and the base of her skull hit the edge of the slide. Sherry lay there for what seemed like an eternity, listening to the two stoners laugh. They thought she was playing. Help me, whimpered Sherry. She stared at the stars and wasn't quite sure what hurt, or if she could feel anything at all. Vincent came into her line of sight and kneeled down next to her.

Cynthia Hammer was born near Baltimore, MD. Since she was young she always loved the water and dabbled in writing. After a recent retirement from entrepreneurship, she and her musician-husband moved to the West Coast for a change of scenery and so she could pursue her lifelong dream of writing. I've always looked to God, asking What do you want me to be? And every time, I felt he was responding, Yourself! In an effort to fulfill that directive, she has written several articles and Iceburg marks the first of what she hopes to be many successful books.

About the Book: Tunnel Visions Working 5 miles inside a water tunnel in 1971, Willie Carter was one of 17 men killed in a methane explosion. The ensuing underground fire burned for two days before Los Angeles firefighters could attempt a rescue in what became known in California as the Sylmar Tunnel disaster.

Kurt Kamm Bio: Malibu resident Kurt Kamm has used his contact with CalFire, Los Angeles County and Ventura County Fire Departments, and the ATF, as well as his experience in several devastating local wildfires, to write fact-based (“faction”) firefighter mystery novels. Kurt has attended classes at El Camino Fire Academy and trained in wildland firefighting, arson investigation and hazardous materials response. He is also a graduate of the ATF Citizen's Academy. Recently he rode with Los Angeles County Fire Department's famed Urban Search & Rescue Task Force while completing work on Tunnel Visions, a USAR mystery in which terrorists threaten the Southern California water supply. Tunnel Visions will be released in September 2014. Kurt has built an avid fan base among first responders and other readers. Each of his firefighter mysteries features a firefighter skilled in a particular discipline (wildland, arson investigation, paramedic, hazardous material response, and search and rescue).
