he is one of the great newspapermen in American history, having served as editor at the New York Herald Tribune and as a pivotal editor at the Washington Post...at the Post he oversaw Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein as they broke the Watergate scandal story, eventually earning the paper a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service...When Harry was 9, he was living in Germany where he and his family endured the Nazi Kristallnacht (a day and night event attacking Jews, their homes & their businesses--a prelude to the Holocaust)...fortunately, the Rosenbergs immediately fled Germany for America...Harry, at 9, coming to America without speaking a word of English...he has managed to live the American dream...proving why good journalism, such as the Rosenbeg brand, is essential to our democracy...you can google his name or title of book for more info on him...he currently lives in Albany, NY, but is visiting this week in Palm Springs, Calif., speaking at a major library there this Thursday
