Danny Rossi
After the success of their Sophomore release "Dirty Valentine". The ONE boys felt incredibly inspired to begin working on a new album. Having spent the better part of the last 3 years touring, there was a lot of excitement about getting back into writing mode. "You spend all that time out on the road, you see so much, experience so much and have so much to say. You just gotta sit down and begin to
put it all down on paper", says Danny Rossi.
"Being away from home so much makes you feel a certain way that at times is hard to put into words. It is an amazing feeling to have great fans and friends so far away from home," says guitarist Chris Staniforth. Having had success and a good vibe recording "Dirty Valentine" ONE decided to again acquire the services of Slaves on Dope guitarist Kevin Jardine. "He did a good job on the last record. He provides a good mix of honesty and input that just works well with us," says Staniforth. The band spent way more time preparing for the studio process than the last record. Building a small pre-production studio in the house on one of the band members, making it way easier to get work done. "We began putting stuff together and getting a feel for where we were going with this record, continues Staniforth.

IS IT OBAMA’S ECONOMY YET?: Expert Lays the Miserable Facts on the Table
IS IT OBAMA’S ECONOMY YET?: Expert Lays the Miserable Facts on the Table
S IT OBAMA’S ECONOMY YET?: Expert Lays the Miserable Facts on the Table
We are just weeks away from what many consider to be one of the most defining-moment elections in our nation’s history.
Just in case voters are still treating this year like any other, waiting until now, at the 11th hour, to pay attention, MBA, seasoned tax expert and retired 20 year criminal investigator with the IRS, Michael Vilardi, is available for interviews to lay the Obama economy out in simple terms.
Where Vilardi begins is where Obama begins, with the Bush administration. After all, even the most disconnected voters have heard Obama’s tune before—how he “inherited” an economic catastrophe and needs more time to fix it right.
The problem with this plea, however, is that the trend lines on virtually every economic barometer have gone down on Obama’s watch.
Since Inauguration Day, January 2009, unemployment has gone up from 7.8% to 8.3% …the U.S. credit rating has been downgraded from AAA to AA…gasoline prices have gone up from $1.81 to $3.69 …the national debt from $10 trillion to $16 trillion ...both federal spending and our budget deficit as a percent of GDP are the highest since WWII.
Home ownership rate? Down. …Mortgage foreclosures? Up. …Food stamps and poverty? Up. …Personal income and the % of eligible taxpayers paying taxes? Down.
…Bankruptcies? Up. …New business startups? Down. …And the maddening list go on.
So, what is Obama’s plan for the next four years? …Raise taxes.
Find out why these issues spell doom for the American economy, if we really are driving headlong toward a fiscal cliff, and what new leadership must do to change this wretched course and preserve America’s status as an economic superpower.
Call Special Guests to schedule an interview with Michael Vilardi.
ABOUT YOUR GUEST, MICHAEL VILARDI:
Michael Vilardi is a retired IRS criminal investigator, having left that position in August 2010, after 22 years of admirable service. At that point, he became an enrolled agent and started the tax division at the Protection Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in July of 2011. After helping many people solve their tax issues with the IRS, Vilardi decided to go out on his own and started Mike Vilardi, LLC, where he deploys his unique set of skills and knowledge about the ins and outs of the IRS to serve anyone with a serious tax issue.
Vilardi was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up on Long Island. He attended the University of Massachusetts, where he obtained a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Management. He then taught at the college level for several years, where he perfected the art of making complex subjects easy to understand.

John Espinoza Nelson
John Espinoza Nelson
TOPIC-His memoir, Where Excuses Go To Die
About John Nelson:
John Espinoza Nelson , accomplished author and prison expert, is now known as the “No Excuses” guy. But in 1990, young John pursued his worst ideas and learned first-hand about crime and punishment. The LAPD called him the Bookstore Bandit and later collared him robbing banks. Based on a crazy conversation with a former girlfriend, his ill-chosen casual crime spree contrasted painfully with his engaging and law-abiding, upper-middle class family. Now, decades later, John provides informed insight and surprising humor about his journey through the place where excuses go to die.
Unlike thousands of inmates, John beat the odds and made his four years in prison a time of real personal growth. He is now an expert on avoiding recidivism and surviving the failed penal system. With such life experiences under his belt, John speaks compellingly to adults and pre-adults alike, offering credible advice for parents and children to keep from acting on their own worst ideas in the course of growing up. John lives with his wife in his beloved city of Los Angeles, CA.
His memoir, Where Excuses Go To Die is An edgy, smart, coming-of-age story that while mostly set in prison, also provides a real look at family and personal evolution. John’s journey as a writer began with prison essay competitions and continued after his release, from working with the U.S. Veterans Initiative, to DreamWorks and Maverick Records, to writing contracts with Mattel Toys. John has been published in Esquire, Details, Players, the LA Weekly, and on numerous web assets.

Larry Pratt
FAST & FURIOUS WARRANTS COMING?: By Issa, ATF’s McMahon, Others Could Face Charges
TOPIC-The twists and turns of the Fast & Furious scandal continue, as lead Congressional investigators, Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), have revealed that one of the five agents recognized, to this point, as being most responsible for the gun walking fiasco is double dipping into taxpayers’ pockets.
And that’s not even the most compelling aspect of the story.
Larry Pratt, executive director of the Gun Owners of America (GOA), has been following the Fast & Furious saga very closely since day one, and he’s available for interviews to discuss any angle you like—from the botched gun operation itself to the latest word from Issa and Grassley.
While appearing on Fox News’ On the Record with Greta Van Susteren last week, Issa explained how William McMahon (shown), Deputy Assistant Director and head of the Western region of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) during the gunrunner operation, has been working full-time for investment bank J.P. Morgan during the course of the last four to five months he’s been on paid leave from ATF—paid leave offered to get him to retirement.
The more compelling part? During the interview, Issa says, “This is somebody who our reports said perjured himself before the Congress. We don’t understand why J.P. Morgan would hire somebody who’s lied to Congress, that will probably be referred for criminal prosecution.”

Jay Gutierrez
Jay Gutierrez
Jay Gutierrez spent 20 years in the Air Force and Army as an F-16 jet engine mechanic and a helicopter engine and airframe mechanic. He has received many awards. It all began one day while flying on a mission when he discovered some turquoise, made some jewelry out of it and gave it to some friends. Later he found out those stones were mildly radioactive. He attempted to buy the jewelry back, thinking he may have injured those people he cared about. Remarkably, instead of their being sick, they became unusually healthy and attributed that vigorous health to wearing those special stones. Ever since, Jay made it his main mission in life to help others learn about these positive healing energies. Jay Gutierrez is considered an expert in the field of “natural radiation hormesis,” having traveled several times around the country and working with scientists, doctors, healers and clients. They have been successfully fighting and healing serious degenerative and life threatening diseases, such as cancer and many, many others. Night Hawk Minerals, their company, is the only major U.S. company they are aware of that actively promotes the use of natural radiation hormesis (www.nighthawkminerals.com/index.html). Jay is currently working very closely with many professionals. His website shows evidence of these same scientific principles being used to produce extraordinarily vibrant, fit and prolific agricultural animals and plants! Jay works with his colleague Dr. Raphael d’Angelo, who is his Medical Director and Parasitologist for their clients. Jay and Dr. d’Angelo have toured many parts of the U.S. speaking about the phenomenal healing aspects of “radiation hormesis.” More information and many important details are available in the book coauthored by Jay, called Because People Are Dying. www.amazon.com/Because-People-Dying-Jane-Goldberg/dp/0982189958

Kathy Muir
Kathy Muir
About Kathy Muir
With a distinctive voice and lyrical style that combines a blend of acoustic and pop influences infused with a hint of jazz, Kathy brings a unique spectrum of songs to the stage.
The music is as unconstrained by artistic boundaries as the woman herself. As a young teenager growing up on Edinburgh's south side, Kathy loved to sing Sunday hymns or 'songs', as she preferred to call them, at her local church. When folk hymns were introduced to the church and her mother became one of the singers, Kathy started to pick up on these catchier tunes and in a few years decided she too wanted to join the folk group. She was now equally drawn to the guitar and started to learn on a friend's old acoustic. In the space of six months she had secured a position in the group and would head to church early every Sunday to practise before the service. This love of spiritual songs has continued to grow over the years and Kathy has learned to find her own inner voice that has resulted in her now individual style of songwriting.
As a singer-songwriter Kathy knows what she likes and what suits her voice. Whilst comfortable playing acoustic pop, her jazz and blues influences weave through her songs and her vocal and lyrical style remains singular and instantly identifiable: an expressive range that is soft and intimate, yet sassy and upbeat with a natural, unforced delivery that captures the imagination'.
And imagination is aplenty. It's clear from hearing Kathy talk that her outside interests weave themselves into her work. The song 'Sweet and Easy' is actually dedicated to artists from a bygone era: John Muir the naturalist, the Seattle Camera Club (1924-1929) and Elizabeth Colborne - a woodblock printer - the latter two hailing from the Pacific Northwest. What is unusual is that Kathy has collaborated with the University of Washington, The Pacific Library of California and the Whatcom Museum to obtain copyright approval to show selected works of these artists in her music video. Her aim is true: to show beautiful work she feels sure would capture people's hearts today.
Kathy has always had a passion for words, music and art. Some years ago in 'Advent Calendar season', she wrote 25 short stories, one each day and each one based on a different photograph taken in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Paris, London, Edinburgh and Brussels amongst others. This storytelling quality is echoed in her songs today. Moreover, she believes there is a story to tell about the Seattle Camera Club (SCC), so much so that she is creating a special site within her website called 'Sweet and Easy-The Untold Story'. The main focus of the site is to tell the story of the SCC in an appealing yet informative manner. Thanks to the club's members, their work helped pictorial photography become a recognised art form in the salons of that era, formerly only reserved for paintings. Indeed, in 1928, of the ten most displayed photographers globally, seven were SCC members.
They say art is permanent energy. If so, and Kathy is able to raise awareness of the work of the Seattle Camera Club, then their energy will be around for most of Kathy's lifetime and beyond.
A Scot, from Edinburgh, Scotland, Kathy currently lives in Connecticut. Whilst living here she has offered to play for free to any art foundations/institutions in the Seattle/Puget Sound area or in Connecticut /NYC . Any profits from paying venues will go directly to art charities. She calls it 'recyclable art' and sees it as a kind of 'giving back whilst going forward'.
When asked what she think's she's trying to be as an artist, Kathy says she simply seeks to express the cornerstones of her beliefs; that art, nature and creativity can not only co-exist across creative mediums but they harmoniously and most joyously combine. These founding principles continue to weave throughout her work, be they through storytelling, songwriting, music videos or photography.
Music videos - Working with Markus Innocenti:
Kathy's soon-to-be-released music videos for the Far from Entirely album have been solely directed by Markus Innocenti, founder of Red Dog Logic . This marks a milestone for both director and singer. ' Jezebel ' is out mid August and is Kathy's first music video release with Markus behind the camera. Conversely, Kathy is the first artist to work with Markus since his return in 2012 to the music video business after a 20 year hiatus. Artists that Markus worked with in the past included Annie Lennox, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Page, Ringo Starr and Bill Wyman. So, what prompted this 20 year absence from the business and why return now?
Markus recalls he reached a tipping point where the artist and the songs he was being asked to direct failed to inspire and he realised the truth of a conversation with Annie Lennox in which she said that 'the only way to succeed is to work with an artist or material that you truly care about'. Despite many requests over the years, Markus has declined all further offers. Until now. Kathy and Markus met each other in early 2012 in Scotland through mutual friends, and quickly grew to respect each other's work and artistic integrity. As a team, they have sought to express the cornerstones of Kathy' s belief as an artist; that art, nature and creativity can not only co-exist across creative mediums but harmoniously and joyously combine. These founding principles continue to weave throughout their collaborative process as they embark on new videos for Kathy's second album.
For Kathy, the experience of working with Markus has allowed her to gain deeper insights into her own material. For Markus, working with Kathy's artistry and commitment has kick-started his inpiration and creativity.

Legendary Music Manager Teams Up with Long-Distance Runner
Legendary Music Manager Teams Up with Long-Distance Runner
Former Guns n’ Roses Manager Vicky Hamilton Reps Todd Crandell
Los Angeles – Music industry veteran Vicky Hamilton has joined forces with long-distance runner/substance abuse counselor Todd Crandell, PC, LCDCIII. Crandell, who has a Master of Counseling MAC degree, is also a seasoned runner, having competed in races globally. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor PC and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III LCDCIII.
Hamilton started her Los Angeles music career working with Motley Crue’s first management company. She managed a veritable “Who’s Who” of rock luminaries from Poison to Guns n Roses before moving on to an A&R position at Geffen Records.
In the 90s, Hamilton worked at Lookout Management/Vapor Records, where she handled American recording act the Freewheelers and TVT records artist Portable. Around this time Hamilton began managing painters, including artists Ron English and an underground tagger known as “The Street Phantom,” who went on to do an album jacket for Rage Against the Machine. In 1999, Hamiton started Small Hairy Dog records and signed their sole artist, June Carter Cash, whose album Press On won a Grammy for Best Traditional Folk Album the following year.
In the last decade, Hamilton has booked bands for famed music venue Bar Sinister, taught at Musician’s Institute, and written for the A&R Registry. Currently, she is the booker for the Malibu Inn nightspot. But it was her role as a recovering addict that helped her link up with Todd Crandell, an alcohol and substance abuse counselor who is also a successful marathon runner. Crandell formed an organization called Racing for Recovery that combines his two passions. Racing for Recovery is a federally approved 501 c 3 non-profit formed by Crandall in 2001.
“The first time I spoke to Todd Crandell, his passion for helping people recover from drug and alcohol addiction came from the depths of his soul,” says Hamilton, who has been clean and sober for eleven years. “Todd had to crawl out of the deep abyss himself, and he understand that you have to face off with your demons at the core of your being. Racing for Recovery is a good start in that direction and Todd Crandell could well be the Bill W. or Bob Timmons of this generation. He’s teaching his clients to turn their addictions into something client.”
“I am so thankful for Vicky's support,” says Crandell. “I am humbled to be working with her and knowing she has the same interests is a bonus.”
Crandell, who has been sober for 13 years, will be running in the New York City Ironman on August 11th (for his 21st time) the Ironman Quebec marathon on August 19th, and the Ironman Hawaii World Championships on October 13th. Crandell is a 20x Ironman and twice-Ultraman finisher,.

CP KELLEY – COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST
CP KELLEY – COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST
Colin Patrick Kelley, better known as CP Kelley, was born in Texarkana, AR in 1967. Ever since he could remember, Kelley played an instrument. Kelley found out early in life that he held a gift most musicians would love to have. That gift is the ability to listen to a song and play it by ear on the instrument they’re playing. For the most part, Kelley is a self taught musician and singer. He’s never been to any formal vocal coach for training and he taught himself how to play the piano.
Throughout school and his adult life Kelley’s played the Piano, Alto Sax, Oboe, Xylophone, Chimes and the Electric Keyboard. In high school Kelley was an electric keyboard player in Four States Honor Jazz Band. Music runs through his veins; it’s what allows him to express himself to the world and entertain the people around him.
Since he loves entertaining and music he decided in 2011 to combine the two talents together and tackle the professional music industry as a recording artist. He has many singers and songwriters that have inspired him and his music that span a variety of genres from Frank Sinatra to Garth Brooks. However country music is his genre of choice as it allows him to exploit his vocal range that is not only appealing for the listeners but entertaining. Country music is the spirit of America, it’s full of deep emotions and stories of the lives of true blooded Americans; and that is what Kelley is.

PUBLIC IMAGE LTD
PUBLIC IMAGE LTD
TOPIC-‘PUBLIC IMAGE LTD’ ANNOUNCE AA SINGLE
“OUT OF THE WOODS’’/“REGGIE SONG”
FOR RELEASE OCTOBER 1
Public Image Ltd (PiL) are an English post-punk band formed by vocalist John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), guitarist Keith Levene and bassist Jah Wobble, with frequent subsequent personnel changes. Lydon is the sole constant member of the band.
Lydon emerged after the break-up of the Sex Pistols with PiL's First Issue (1978). His new band had a more experimental sound: Wobble's "droning, slow-tempo, bass-heavy noise rock, overlaid by Lydon's distinctive, vituperative rant".[1] Their early work is often regarded as some of the most challenging and innovative music of the post-punk era. Their 1979 album Metal Box was ranked number 469 on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The NME described PiL as "arguably the first post-rock group".[2]

Ian Narcisi
Ian Narcisi
Ian Narcisi has always understood one simple truth: If you have a dream, make it happen.
Ian’s dream is to change the world through his music. With a spiritual-humanist philosophy and a penchant for complex synth-based melodic progressive rock, Ian believes in the power of the human race to become their dreams. He seeks to build a better world through music, prodding all who will listen to become the selves they have envisioned.
Ian has wanted to make music since a young age. His first steps were piano lessons at the age of ten, but piano just didn’t appeal to his then pre-adolescent mind. What did register was the wild abandon of drumming. Inspired by a friend of his brother’s, Ian began taking drum lessons in 1983. Eight years later, he auditioned and was accepted into The American Conservatory of Music. Ian studied Jazz drumming and composition while at ACM, but eventually left to pursue his other passion, meteorology.
Chasing storms and interning under Tom Skilling at Chicago’s WGN were exciting for Ian, but all the while he was continuing to play with various bands around the Chicago area. Ian began studying voice with opera singer Janice Pantazelos in 1998, going on to perform accapella at various venues around Chicago. Around the same time, Ian returned to his roots on the piano, and began writing songs from his heart. In 2000, Ian met Scottish McMillan, with whom he would play with for close to a decade
while continuing to develop and enhance his skills as a performer.
What has happened since then could only be categorized as a slow-moving musical reaction. Ian has continued to develop artistically and as a human being. The latter has been a matter of spiritual, if not religious, inspiration. The former has been a continued progressive rock exploration that varies in synthesis from the classical-inspired compositional style of Muse to the heavy progressive magic of Porcupine Tree. Ian is relentless in his pursuit of the muse, delving deep into his own emotional and
rational understanding of the world and sharing in song.
Ian began documenting his songwriting and performance style with 2005’s Off Purpose, a collection of seven piano/vocal originals. This album grew out of a chance meeting with an old friend, Tim Sandusky, owner of Studio Ballistico in Chicago. Sandusky not only provided the studio space, but also engineered and co-produced the album. The process was like the loosening of a dam, and songs began to spring forth unbidden. Off Purpose (2006) was Ian’s first full-band EP; this, an important step developmentally. By 2007, Ian was no longer playing out, focusing his time on writing and recording his third EP, Niche In Time.
This new focus brought a greater depth of songwriting; a depth that showed more fully on Ian’s first full-length album, Weight Of The Words, which featured re-masters of the EPs Off Purpose and Niche In Time in addition to six new songs. This dreamy synth-based progressive rock collection shows off a distinct musicality and vision that expands on traditional rock compositional styles in a Muse-meets-King Crimson ménage. Highlights include “Burning” and “Forever Today”. Ian’s songwriting takes on a
bit more edge on his 2009 EP Feel No Evil. With songs such as “Sparkle And Shine” and “Little Bit”, Ian shows a developing sense of musical drama.
Ian’s latest EP, Phone Call To Infinity, is his most defining work to date. The edge noted on Feel No Evil is still here, but Ian has polished the rough edges to a fine musical sheen. The song “Behind The Dawn” shows an expansive sound that’s part Queen, part Muse and part Pink Floyd. Similar musical colors dance through “Five Below Nothing” and “Absent Today”. At some point in the recording of this EP, Ian has transcended mere creation into art; at the same time elevating his messages about becoming the best possible you to pure poetry.
This development; this becoming, is all the more exciting when you consider that Ian returns to the studio this fall. It’s difficult to imagine where Ian might go next, but imagine you will. Ian’s music evokes the dreams you never consciously suspected but always understood on some deep, quiet level. This is transcendence. This is art. This is Ian Narcisi.

TOPIC-Author Scores with GUTSY Women Retreat
White Haven, Pa. February 9, 2012 —Women leaders in business know the dilemma – too many demands on home front, as well as at work: how to juggle so everyone is happy and nothing crashes and burns?
Sylvia Lafair, PhD, author of award winning book “Don’t Bring It to Work”, knows the problem well.
With all the advances women have made in the business world, the demand to still be point person at home has not changed over the decades. In my executive coaching I still hear the complaint that there is never enough time for self-care” says Sylvia.
This response wasn’t good enough for Lafair, President of Creative Energy Options Inc., an award-winning leadership development company. She began to research the issues surrounding the fact that while much change has occurred for women in business, some patterns of behavior are still behind the curve.
Armed with data and determination, she developed the GUTSY WOMEN WEEKEND RETREAT to combine learning and leisure. Lafair has created what amounts to a women’s self-defense program, offering advice and information to help women get in touch with what they need to do to, in her words, “have self-care, be self-aware, and even more important, become pattern-aware of what women keep repeating from their past”.
The retreat begins on a Friday evening with a wine reception and sumptuous dinner and ends with brunch on Sunday morning, giving women in business the tips and tools to find a better work-life balance. The weekend combines education and entertainment along with opportunities for networking. There is time for massage, yoga, hiking or just relaxing, as well as a team building event to understand the power of collaboration.
One key aspect that sets this retreat apart is weaving new research about how men and women relate, addressing the complexities of contemporary life, at home and work.
Dr. Lafair, who morphed from a family therapist to a business leadership expert, is also a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has always been on the leading edge of change and her important ideas about how patterns of behavior are repeated from generation to generation until “we take that bull by the horns and dare to do it differently” have made her a sought after speaker.
Here is what women who have gone through previous GUTSY Women weekends have this to say:
GUTSY hits the spot. It’s what every business woman, actually what every woman needs now. In one weekend I was able to rethink, reclaim, and reinvent my priorities for work and home; in just ONE weekend! – Joanne LaMarca, Network TV Producer, New York
It was an incredible weekend. I got clarification about my next steps and was supported by an amazing group of women I had never met before. I learned about how my behavior patterns could be changed for the better. Take the leap and become GUTSY! – Liz Moore, Living by Nutrition, Sewell, NJ
The next GUTSY WEEKEND is April 13-15, 2012 at Dr. Lafair’s retreat center, www.retreatpa.com, and those who attend will receive a copy of her new book “GUTSY: How Women Leaders Make Change” to be launched in March.
