The Alternative Education Resource Organization is the primary resource for families looking for educational alternatives, school/resource center starters, and alternative education researchers. AERO's mission is to help connect individuals and groups and share ideas related to alternative education. Our goal is to help people around the world experience learner-centered education. AERO publishes important news, articles, and books on issues related to alternative education, democratic education, homeschooling, unschooling, public alternatives, Montessori, Waldorf, and Sudbury schools. AERO organizes conferences, events, and online school-starting courses and is sustained by its members, including individuals and organizations, that support AERO in realizing the education revolution.
