Industry experts and road trip connoisseurs, Robert Sinclair, Jr. of AAA and James Bell of General Motors can discuss everything from mapping your destination, to avoiding breakdowns, to keeping the kids busy in the car. Robert Sinclair, Jr., AAA
For the past 13 years Robert Sinclair Jr. has represented AAA New York on national and local electronic, print and web-based media. Prior to his arrival, the AAA New York relied on external sources for its vehicle test drives. Within a week of his start date, Mr. Sinclair was able to secure test vehicles for the Club. As a result, he drives more than sixty new vehicles a year and writes road tests for the Club’s magazine, Car & Travel and the organization's website. Robert’s position dictates his being knowledgeable on a host of policy issues related to motor vehicle transportation. He is conversant on gasoline supply and distribution, child passenger safety, rules and regulations related to light and heavy trucks, engineering and maintenance of roadway infrastructure, mass transit, air traffic control, airline security and holiday travel.
James Bell, Head of Consumer Affairs, General Motors
With over 16 years of experience, James Bell is a nationally recognized and authoritative resource within the automotive industry. Prior to joining GM, James was Vice President of Corporate Communications and Executive Market Analyst for Kelley Blue Book. In this role, he was charged with promoting the KBB.com brand and driving traffic to its award-winning web site. Bell has been featured on national television news shows on CNN, Fox News, CBS, NBC, national and local talk radio, as well as within the pages of both respected newspapers and automotive trade publications.
