The EP garnered critical acclaim, and the single from the album, “Chase Me Down,” received widespread airplay on CHR radio stations around the country. “The Medicine” was also Chris’s first project with the Dove Award-Winning producer, Tha Kracken!. Chris and Tha Kracken! have now teamed up to launch a new music label, Late Bloom, in 2012. Chris began the year by releasing a free mixtape follow-up to “The Medicine,” entitled, “Get Well Soon.” Chris and Late Bloom are just getting started in 2012, however, with a free album titled, “Better,” to be released in the Summer, and an as yet untitled full-length album to be released before the end of 2012. Chris and Tha Kracken! are both exceptional, dedicated artists who are committed to making the best possible art and pushing the boundaries of Urban Christian Music. The vocal and songwriting skill of Chris, coupled with the musical production skill of The Kracken! have produced a unique sound that has been missing from Urban Christian Music. When Chris isn’t busy writing music and recording for his upcoming projects, he enjoys spending time with his wife, serving his local church community and working as a professional firefighter in Kansas City.
