In a new study published in Cancer researchers concluded that in the last 30 years since mammography was introduced, the late-stage breast cancer incidence decreased by 37 percent. The researchers looked at early-stage and late-stage breast cancer diagnoses between two time periods, 1977-1979 and 2007 – 2009 for comparisons. “They found that late-stage breast cancer incidence decreased by 37 percent from the projected rate, whereas the early-stage breast cancer incidence increased by 48 percent.” Dr. Carl, Cancer survivor and host of The Holistic Health Show, elaborates on his insightful journey through the terror of a diagnosis cancer and how getting an early diagnosis can save your life!
