Dr. Ayn Cates Sullivan

About the Author Ayn Cates Sullivan, MA, MFA, Ph.D. is an inspirational author and teacher. She holds a master’s degree in spiritual psychology from USM, and a masters and doctorate in literature from Columbia University and King’s College London. She currently lives with her husband, two children and variety of horses and pets on a ranch in Ojai, California. Her educational experiences coupled by life lead her into the study and practice of what makes one whole. After a strong spiritual experience with the light she wrote a book of prayers called Unquenchable Spiritual Fire, which she wishes to make available to people who are blossoming into their true nature as an inspiration and embrace for the journey. It is written to invite a love affair with God. The book includes the precise prayer formula and three poems by Howard Wills that have helped thousands of people make a direct connection with the Infinite Light and lead healthier, prosperous and successful lives. Ayn’s many inspirational books include Tracking The Deer, Consider This, The Windhorse: Poems Of Illumination, Initiation At The Well and, Sparkle & The Gift, the first of a children’s story series about a girl who refuses to forget that she is a light being. After her ordination with Howard Wills, Ayn became a practicing Minister. She was also ordained by Dan Chesbro of the Church of the Holy Beloved and holds a certificate of ordination with the Universal Life Church. Ayn’s background is largely esoteric Christianity, and yet she has also studied extensively with Rabbi Gabriel Cousens as well as a sufi based mystery school and was an active devotee of the Hindu hugging saint Ammachi for over a decade. She believes that God is an indwelling presence that is found within and can be known through direct experience. One of Ayn’s deepest loves is color as a path to awakening. She makes color essences that help inspire and uplift so that we may let go of our untruth and step into our Self. Ayn wishes to help end the patterns that cause pain and suffering and assist in liberating others so that they can live essential and joyous lives. Ayn works on an individual and group basis with students who are awakening. Ayn sees partnership as a way to fully know and realize oneself and teaches couples the art of inquiry with her husband of many years, John Patrick Sullivan. The rest of the time the two can sometimes be found riding horses in the Topa Topa Mountains of Ojai or playing in the Pacific
