About Sabrina
Sabrina Ricci is a freelance writer and ebook developer, with a M.S. in publishing from New York University and a creative writing certificate, emphasis non-fiction from the University of California, Los Angeles, Extension program. She has worked and written for a variety of publications, including LIFE.com, Santa Barbara Magazine, Noozhawk, Yahoo! Voices, eHow, and Examiner.com. And she has worked for the book publishers Random House and Simon & Schuster.
Sabrina was the recipient of the Oscar Dystel Fellowship. She was also the co-founder and publisher of FictionBrigade, a micropublisher of flash fiction ebooks. FictionBrigade's ebook "Espresso Fiction" is an award-winning finalist in the 'E-book: General Fiction' category of The 2012 USA Best Book Awards, sponsored by USA Book News.
Currently Sabrina freelances for NBC Publishing and The Experiment Publishing, and she keeps two blogs, Passports and Placemats and Digital Pubbing. At the end of the year she will be launching the beta for her startup, Write or Read, which will provide metrics and insights to authors of self-published ebooks.
