Once again another mass murderer has taken innocent lives, this time outside a Sikh temple in Wisconsin.

The as yet unidentified shooter took the lives of 6 people at the Sikh temple on Sunday morning and the entire incident is being treated as an act of domestic terrorism.

Often confused for Muslims or Hindus, Sikhs are often targeted in racial profiling by hate groups. No determination has been made as to the reason for the gunman's attack.

After the mass shooting in Colorado, President Obama as well as Senate and Congressional Democrats and Mayor Michael Bloomberg pushed for various gun control proposals. With this second attack in the course of a month, there will no doubt be further cries for more gun control, but this is not the answer.
John Lott is eager to discuss why these a second mass shooting shouldn't lead to more gun control by discussing:

Would more strict gun control laws prevent crimes like the mass shooting in Wisconsin?
What would stronger gun control laws mean for the Average American?
How would newly proposed legislation regarding the sale of ammo prevent these types of crimes?
Do more gun control laws or bans all together cause these multiple victim public shootings? What impact do they have on crime rates generally?
What is the key to preventing tragedies like the Wisconsin shooting in the future?
