Guest: Green Tea
Sonic diversity flows rampant within this group whom originates from New York, Washington State, Illinois, and Wisconsin, yet combining these various wires is the natural fusion of Green Tea. It was at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point that Green Tea formed 10 years ago and with an evolution of members in 2011 and growth of musical roots from Celtic fusion to indie, Green Tea now serves up a powerful brand of original indie roots rock music. The upcoming new album “Wake the Conscious” summarizes this fresh perspective in songwriting and ultimately an energized stage performance. Mixing original indie hooks and lyrics with driving progressions is the band’s modus operandi, catalyzing original inventions on stage with a hint of “live jamming.”

Guest: Midwest Hype
Midwest Hype came of age in the early 2000's in La Porte, IN when lead singer/guitarist George Matthew Prellowitz met drummer Max Kepler and bassist Nate Miller and began playing music together. The three of them all went on to go to Ball State Univeristy, where they met keyboard player Kevin Krismanich, saxophonist Ben Morrisey, & trumpet player Scott. Upon graduating, the band proceeded to embark on a grueling tour schedule, playing 150+ shows annually over the course of the next 5 years. In early 2010, emcee Justin "Ideal" Diehl joined the band, adding the perfect complement to the mixture of hip-hop, reggae, funk, and jazz that encapsulates the band.

LEXIE ROTH is the daughter of guitarist Arlen Roth and his late wife, Deborah. She has been playing music since she was about 8 years old, and has become quite an accomplished guitarist, even though she started out on bass guitar. For over twenty years, health care spending has been steadily increasing and according to many health officials, much of it can be traced to the costs related to obesity. Right now, medical related costs of obesity are around $147 billion per year. The current projections have stated that by 2030, almost half of the U.S. population will be considered obese and the burden to the taxpayers will be in excess of $500 billion. Currently, around 36% of the U.S. is obese and if we don't aggressively bring our weight down, we will not be able to contain our health care costs.
