James Arena
James Arena is available for interviews and bylines regarding: disco interests, disco stars, dance, pop culture, etc. Interviews with celebrities in the book maybe available upon request.
Forty years after the first disco songs topped the U.S. pop charts and launched an exciting new era in music, author James Arena asks: where are these stars today?
In his new book “First Legends of Disco,” Arena celebrates the disco genre nearly four decades after “Saturday Night Fever” reigned supreme. Following his first book on the subject, “First Ladies of Disco,” Arena shares his interviews with 40 of the most prominent stars of the era as they look back at their careers.
“I wanted to remind people of the great joy and energy these people brought to the masses,” Arena said. “I was privileged to share the personal stories of many disco legends, such as Alfa Anderson (formerly of the Nile Rogers group Chic), Randy Jones (formerly with the Village People), George McCrae (“Rock Your Baby”), France Joli (“Come To Me”) and Janice Marie Johnson of A Taste of Honey (“Boogie Oogie Oogie”), just to name a few.”

Mary Mann
Mary Mann
Mary A. Mann, author of There Are No Enemies: A Practical Philosophy of Life Mary Anneeta Mann is descended from Australian pioneers. She obtained the B.A. with honors in English from Sydney University, M.A. in Drama from the University of California at Berkeley, and the Ph.D. in Communications and Drama from the University of Southern California. Mary Mann's father was an 'original' ANZAC, a member of the Australian New Zealand Army Corps, who fought on the Gallipoli peninsula in 1915 and throughout the Great War, or the First World War. Children of Anzac were raised with a sense of intense privilege but also huge responsibility, as they represented the unborn progeny of their fathers' mates, those 'blood brothers' who died in that war to end all wars. Their covenant was broken in 1939 when the Second World War began. A Practical Philosophy of Life is an attempt by an artist turned philosopher, to fulfil a promise made, and is a responsibility honored, to show that war of any kind is scientifically untenable. Her book HUBRIS, The Construction of Tragedy accesses Aristotle's Science of Being Altogether through his Poetics in analyzing the tragedies, Antigone, King Lear, Hamlet, A Man for All Seasons, The Condemned of Altona and Murder in the Cathedral. ThuGun and Natasha is a play for youth audiences that addresses guns and violence in the lives of young people. Maria and the Comet, on the life of Maria Mitchell and The Round Table, which addresses the significance of the United Nations, also for youth audiences, are published in TWO FAMILY PLAYS. Science and Spirituality, co-edited with Rev. Leland Stewart and other compilers, cultivates the spirit of Unity and Diversity among the world's religions and spiritual groups. From Anzac to Understanding includes that play and historical documentation surrounding it, as well as original war letters. Date Recorded: 10/15/2013

Jan. Jones
January Jones
TOPIC-
latest book is "That Shalt Not Whine"--how to get rid of the whining habit and really stay happy
January is a Featured Host on “January Jones sharing Success Stories” on BlogTalkRadio.com daily at 10 am ET. Ms. Jones is the self-proclaimed “Whine Tester” She is a reformed whiner who lives every day in the “No Whine Zone”. Her book published by Beaufort Books is entitled Thou Shalt Not Whine…..The Eleventh Commandment and reached a #1 ranking at amazon.com. Ms. Jones specializes in homemaker humor in the tradition of Erma Bombeck. She is also the author of Jackie Ari and Jack: The Tragic Love Triangle and two other Kennedy books. “What makes January such an expert on whining?” She is a golfer, a woman, a wife, a mother with four kids and grandmother of seven. Also, January was a widow at 25 years with two small children so she knows a little about whining and a lot about winning. More About January Jones When it comes to whining, nobody does it better or knows how to stop it more effectively. January’s advice and methods as a grandmother are much better these days than what she did as a young mother. In her own words January Jones tells us about her journey: “I had a traditional parochial education and was raised in a normal, typical dysfunctional family. I became a stewardess and then married a Navy test pilot. We had two young daughters who were ages 3 and 6 weeks when I became a 25 year old widow after my husband was killed testing an Army helicopter during The Vietnam War. It was a traumatic turning point in my life. My husband had survived a tour in Vietnam while half of his squadron had not come home. We thought we were safe, but found out that your life can change in one instant. One moment our life together was perfect, and then in the next moment it was over. Like many other young widows, I was walking behind a flag draped coffin. I didn’t know how we would survive or what lay ahead for my little family. Fortunately for the three of us, we became four when I married another pilot who worked for the airlines. Needless to say, my mother thought I was insane. Together we have four children, his, hers and ours having been married close over forty years blessed with seven grandchildren. Our children make every day seem like Christmas for their grandparents. “My adventures have been an incredible journey with more than a few speed bumps. My husband and I have shared more adventures in one lifetime than we ever could have imagined possible. There have been many tears, trials, triumphs and treasures along the way.” Thou Shalt Not Whine and The Eleventh Commandment is a topic I have dealt with personally. I am passionate about helping others with humor and hope. January Jones is “The Whine Tester” and she is always looking for new Success Stories to share with her listeners on her successful radio show at “janaury Jones sharing Success Storeis” at www.BlogTalkRadio.com/januaryjones

Becker
Mark Becker-Legal Logic
TOPIC-
Legal Logic
Guest Bio: Mark E. Becker is a lawyer, certified mediator, political mediator and author. Mark was one of the first certified mediators in the state of Florida and has successfully help resolve more than 5,000 cases. Mark consulted with politicians on high profile issues, worked in the same Florida courthouse that determined the 2000 presidential election, had his shoes shined with Vice-President Joe Biden, spoke candidly with Senator Elizabeth Dole, accidently stepped on Jesse Jackson’s shoes, and had lunch next to Florida Governor Jeb Bush during 9/11 as his brother, the president, was in Sarasota Florida reading stories to elementary children. In fact, he borrowed the title for his first political thriller, “At Risk of Winning,” from Ron Paul’s wife. Mark is not a member of any political party, and you will never see any reference to party politics in his books, during mediation, or while he commentates. Mark believes that, as with any dispute with two contentious parties, the democrats and republicans could benefit greatly from solution-oriented mediation. About the Books: Mark has taken his approach to mediation and created a character who exemplifies the qualities that he believes people should seek when deciding to cast their vote in elections. Mark’s main Character, Max Masterson is a guy who isn’t a politician, who happens to be running for President of the United States. He isn’t a member of any political party, and he doesn’t make speeches. In fact, Max doesn’t do anything like traditional politicians, and that’s why the Washington establishment is trying to kill him.
